keep moving forward

You may not be able to prevent certain losses in your life. To devalue yourself for that which is beyond your control is unhealthy and unproductive. Unexpected losses are beyond anyone’s ability to be prepared for, and feeling powerless in relation to not being prepared for them is normal. At the same time, being powerless to be prepared doesn’t mean you are without the power to process pain and keep moving forward.
